N-TEX Sand & Gravel opened for business on December 1, 2007 after purchasing the assets of Bob Meals Sand and Gravel. Bob started his business in 1963 in Seagoville, TX and moved to the Red River area in 1993. With Mr. Meals’ decision to retire, Dana and I purchased the company with a silent partner. In December 2009 we became the sole owners of the company.

N-TEX Sand & Gravel is a Christian-based, family-owned, and family-operated business. Our children are closely involved with the daily operations. Mike manages the River Plant; Alan manages the Wolf Creek Plant; Ryan manages the Horn Plant; Eric administers our online presence and Taylor assists in the office. We also currently employ approximately 25 of the best employees in the area. Our General Manager, Terry Hopkins, has been associated with us in this and other ventures for 15+ years and many of our employees have been with N-TEX since we began in 2007. We are most proud of our commitment to safety. We have had no lost time accidents since December 1, 2007.

Blessed with a substantial amount of natural reserves, we can offer several quality products which include concrete sand, pea gravel, clean washed road rock, and pea mix and we have been able to grow our company into a reliable sand and gravel option for the entire North and East Dallas metropolitan area. We have worked diligently to earn a very loyal and solid customer base. We service some of the largest contractors in the area to the smaller home-based businessmen. Despite recent waves in the economy over the past few years, N-TEX Sand & Gravel has been able to maintain a steady growth in sales each year. We look forward to the opportunity to earn your business and to be of service to all our customers for many years to come.
